The 14th Annual Black & White Ball Golf Classic will be held at the Auburn Country Club's beautiful l8-hole golf course on Friday, August 15th. Check-in begins at 7:00am with breakfast, contests and sign-in preceding the 9am Shotgun start. The putting contest for cash prizes will end at 9am. The $155 green fees include golf cart, tee prizes, professional scoring, Golf Classic keepsake, hot breakfast and gourmet feast and prizes.
At the time of registration and prior to the tournament, golfers may purchase a bonus package that includes three Mulligans, three closest to the pin holes (holes three, five, and twelve), entry in the putting contest, one closest to the pin, unlimited Miller Lite and MGD on the course, a chance to win a $50 pro shop gift certificate and more. The bonus package costs only $30 and is a $55 value if purchased separately.
"The bonus package is the way to go. The whole fun of the tournament is to take part in everything. When golfers purchase the bonus package, they save a whole lot of money and enter to win cash and prizes," said tournament co-chair Ron Lichau. "We always have a great time. The sponsors offer all sorts of interesting things at each tee. It's something you just have to see."
Fabulous prizes abound for winners of various tournaments during the Classic. Raffle tickets will also be sold at the event for other prizes. Unique sponsorship opportunities are now available which include the green fees for the Golf Classic and VIP tickets to the August 16th Black & White Ball.
The 2008 Black & White Ball Golf Classic is not only a good time for everyone, but it also benefits a number of excellent community organizations. Proceeds from this exciting affair go to benefit Sutter-Auburn Faith Hospice, Boys & Girls Club of Auburn, and the Auburn Chamber of Commerce.
